The children had a wonderful time celebrating World Book Day at school this week. The day began with a special assembly, and the children, who were dressed as a character from a traditional story, showed off their costumes in a parade. They also met ‘Dani the Storyteller’ and throughout the day each class took part in an exciting interactive story telling session. Back in their classrooms children completed a range of other book themed activities including, making bookmarks, sharing a favourite book with a friend and writing riddles about characters from traditional stories. It was a lovely day and thoroughly enjoyed by all!
