Gardening Club - Summer Term 2024

This term the children in EYFS have had the opportunity to take part in gardening club. We have learnt about composting and how ‘leftovers’ can be turned back into soil. The children have had the opportunity to look at and plant different types of seeds. We have dug over the EYFS garden and have planted a range of flowers and vegetable seedlings. We learnt about the function of the roots and kept a look out for them as we planted. The children have enjoyed watering the plants and watching them grow.
